Into Fresh Air Blog

February 27, 2017

Yes, that's what I have appeared to have done, disappeared that is...the last few weeks have been a challenge in more ways than one.

A very close friend of mine died, ironically he fell from a cliff while looking for a place to meditate...not much more to say than that...get your mind around that one.

So the Fresh Air I refer to in capital letters is the Fresh Air you want in your system from conscious breathing. Many people are shallow breathers, or at times hold their breath completely, so setting some time aside in the morning and at night to do some simple breathing  exercises is very, very important.

See this as a basic start to you being more healthy...

Do 3-6 of these slowly, (with a natural breath between each), in to the count of 3, and out to the count of 5, not forced, not tense, breath into the pit of your stomach, down deep into the bottom of the lungs...and then simply release the exhalation...imagine, visualize or pretend you have climbed a hill with a heavy backpack...then put it down...that good feeling is the exhalation...a mental and physical thing...

Try it if you like, you might be surprised at the release you experience...

If you have a medical condition that prevents you from doing this safely...don't do it then
