The 'Death' of bloggers...Part 2...

March 10, 2017

The discussion of the top 5 regrets Bronnie Ware heard from clients/patients in her many years working in Hospice palliative care...continued...

2) I wish I did not work so hard.

This is a tricky one for me, as children we told by parents and teachers to 'Work hard'... so all work from then on can then end up being one big, hard, tough, weighty, difficult process...well we were told to 'Work hard', right? Nobody told us to go out there and find what we love, enjoy it, work at it in a joyful way, and above at 'it' in a balanced way.

Bronnie says 'By simplifying your lifestyle and making conscious choices along the way, it is possible to not need the income that you think you do. And by creating more space in your life, you become happier and more open to new opportunities in your new lifestyle'.

The bottom line here is if you spend all your time working or chasing money there is no space for anything else in your life. Many people say I will take it easy once I am set up financially...perhaps they get sick and never get that chance.

Do a little experiment, go sit on a park bench, in a coffee shop, look at the they seem happy? or not? if someone was doing the same thing as you are...sitting observing would they see you, happy or just chasing your tail?

As they say 'That's all folks' well for today anyway...and please remember, if you don't agree with me, it's all good, we all have different opinions...
